Recent ActivityMedia News!  Everyday Newington Elementary Media Center strives to:
Reading Counts Students are now able to take online quizzes on books they have read. Each grade has personal goals for how many books to read and test on each nine weeks. Students will receive immediate feedback when they take a quiz, as well as teacher support as they work toward their goal. Our subscription to Scholastic Reading Counts gives us access to their full database of quizzes - currently more than 45,000. We are happy to report that the majority of books in the NES media center have quizzes!
